Destiny Design: Upload Files

You can upload files directly to Destiny Design's FTP server. You must first contact us so we can provide you with a password. Then:

Using FTP Client Software

You'll need two things for this task: compression software and FTP client software. If you don’t already have those installed, you can find them on our File Utilities page.

First, prepare your files by compressing them into a self-extracting archive. Destiny Design supports most compression formats, ZIP is a good choice. If your file is not too large, then you can skip the compression step.

Next, set up your FTP client software as follows:

Host	ftp.destinydesign.com
User ID	destiny
Password	(Contact us for the password.)
Directory	(Leave blank.)

Then, upload the file or compressed archive in Binary (Raw Data), MacBinary (II or III) or Binhex format.

Finally, let us know your file is ready for us.

Of course, you can also send us a file as an email attachment. Be sure to first compress them into a self-extracing archive (find software for that purpose on our File Utilities page). Refer to your email software’s documentation for details about attaching files.
