You can download files directly from Destiny Design's FTP server.
Using Web Browser Software
Go to ftp://ftp.destinydesign.com
and select the file you want. If you have your browser set up correctly,
the file will be translated from its Binhex format, and be placed
in your default download folder. If the file does not get translated
automatically, you can download, install, and use Stuffit Expander
to translate the file. You can find Stuffit Expander on our File
Utilities page.
Alternately, you can click-and-hold (Win95/98 users right-click)
the files link, then choose Save Image As, Save
Picture As or Download Link to Disk from the resulting
popup menu (depending on your browser and the files format,
you may see some variation of these commands). Choose a location
to save the image/link; then click Save.
Using FTP Client Software
You'll need two things for this task: FTP client software and decompression
software. If you dont already have those installed, you can
find them on our File Utilities page.
Set up your FTP client software as follows:
 |
 |
 |
| Host |
ftp.destinydesign.com
|
| User
ID |
anonymous
|
| Password |
your
email address |
| Directory |
(leave
blank) |
|
 |
 |
Download the file you want to your hard drive. Use decompression
software to access the file.
Hidden Files
If youve requested your file be hidden from public view,
then it can only be accessed with FTP client software. Youll
need three things for this task: FTP client software, decompression
software and the name of the file (which we will provide). If you
dont already have the software installed, you can find them
on our File Utilities page.
Set up your FTP client software as follows:
 |
 |
 |
| Host |
ftp.destinydesign.com
|
| User
ID |
anonymous
|
| Password |
your
email address |
| Directory |
hidden |
|
 |
 |
Youll be prompted for the exact file name. Remember, it will
be case sensitive. Once the file downloads to your hard drive, use
decompression software to access the file.
Please contact us if you have any questions
about downloading or using your files.
